Artist Julius Dubose was born on December 6th 1995. The youngster is professionally known as A Boogie wit da Hoodie, or just ‘A Boogie’.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is an American-born singer, rapper, and songwriter. He is currently signed to Atlantic Records, and also owns his own record label, Highbridge the Label.

For some who have been wondering how and where he got his stage name, he got the name from. In 2002, the singer who has been an actor starred in a movie, Paid in Full, in which he took on the character “Ace Boogie”. In the movie, he mostly wears hoodies most of the time, so his friends gave him the title, ‘A Boogie With Da Hoodie’.

Fast-forward to 2022, the hip hop mogul, since that has grown to what we may say to be an international hip hop star, and recently there have been some reports of him dropping off a new project.

Well, it has been almost a full year since we last heard from A Boogie, but from his recent updates, it seems we are to expect another studio mix from the Bronx crooner. Just last week, he revealed he has some unreleased songs when he was on Twitch stream. That followed by a studio time with a fellow rapper, Roddy Ricch, this happened on 3rd October. So, it is safe to assume that the duo are working on something.

The duo’s fans have been anticipating this mashup judging by the fact that the last time the duo linked up was back in 2020. In a song, “Numbers” where A Boogie featured Gunna and London on da Track.

However, it is not sure yet if the song the two are working on will feature on Roddy’s upcoming album, or even A Boogie’s album  Roddy took to his social platform to reveal that his coming studio album Me vs Myself, which marks his full length studio project since two years will drop on 11/4/22.

Some months back, he was in an interview with HipHopDX and he revealed, “I’m at a part of my career where I’m addicted to what I’m doing. Every part of this step, even if it’s a failure in life, it’s like another journey to where I’m going, and I appreciate this whole process. I’m having so much fun with the process.”

Roddy, who is a 24 year old American rapper, received some praises for tapping into his own original soundtrack with the drop of his recent song which he called “Stop Breathing.”
