Fivio Foreign Supports GloRilla, Says She Deserves Winning Hip Hop Award Over Him
Fivio Foreign has finally accepted GloRilla as the winner of the 2022 Hip Hop Award.
Maxie Lee Ryles III was born on March 29, 1990, he is mostly known by his professional name, Fivio Foreign.
The talented artist is an American rapper who hails from New York. Fivio rose to fame in 2019 when he shared his debut single “Big Drip”, the song was later remixed, and the remixed version featured both Lil Baby and Quavo.
Fivio Foreign is signed to RichFish Records which is owned by a fellow New York rapper, Mase’s and also, Columbia Records.
GloRilla on the other hand was born on July 28, 1999. Her real name is Gloria Woods but usually referred to as GloRilla. She is an American rapper who comes from Memphis, Tennessee. Her break-out song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” shot the female rapper to limelight and she has ever since done music with the like of, JT of City Girls, Cardi B, Latto.
Recent developments have proven that Fivio Foreign is not really a hater when it comes to seeing his colleagues win. The male Brooklyn rapper evidently a rapper with one of the most interesting and successful breakout careers in 2022. He has released several chart topping singles and also shared a studio album which was majorly produced by Kanye West.
Few days ago, the female Memphis rapper bagged her first ever award this year, the BET Hip Hop for Breakthrough Artist of the year. Her success has not really been welcomed by many as some believe that the award should have gone to Fivio.
On Twitter, a fan said, “They robbed Fivio,” however the male artist who is known by his single, “Say My Name” seems to be genuinely happy for GloRilla. He in fact stated on Twitter thet he didn’t get robbed, he went ahead to say that, “GloRilla won cuz she deserved it & ima Happy for her.”
After he made this statement, the like of Kodak Black seems not to be happy with his own defeat as he has something to say. The rapper, Kodak lost the award of “Song Of The Year” to Lotto, and he wrote on his Twitter, “Not Drake! Not Future! But Lache?”, “Don’t just simply give it to somebody kuz they a woman!!!” he further stated, “If that’s the case y’all shoulda gave Song Of The Year to Glorilla. Not that hating a*** mutt.”
Kodak further clapped down on BET as he suggested that fans should boycott them, he called the network “out of touch” and also stated they it’s “watered down”. According to him, he said, “Y’all Lame Af & Y’all Not Really For The People Fr ! BET WATERED DOWN!”
