Quavo & Takeoff Comment On Migos Split

A few years ago, the Migos group were at their peak when they dropped off Bad & Boujee with Lil Uzi Vert with other dope singles. However, for the sake of some of our readers who may not know Migos. Let us take a brief look at who they are.

Migos had been an American hip group, made up of three rappers, Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff. They are from Lawrenceville, Georgia, and the Migos group was founded in the year 2008.

They were managed by Coach K, the same manager who looked after the affairs of the Atlanta-based rappers, Young Jeezy and  Gucci Mane. The trio had frequently collaborated with good producers like Murda Beatz, DJ Durel, Buddah Bless and Zaytoven.

Furthermore, they were so good that Billboard once described them as a group that have successfully “influenced pop culture and the entire English language by bringing their North (or “Nawf”) Atlanta roots to the mainstream“. Sadly enough, the trio would seem not be be together long enough to be credited with more accolades.

Inspite the fact that the “Culture” singers were just throwing up signs of controversy before releasing a new song, Offset’s breakout from the Migos group has been enough reason to justify the controversy of split as they went ahead to cancel their performance at Governors Ball during the summer.

Not just breaking out of the group, Offset has also shared new music, like “Code” which features Moneybagg Yo while Quavo and Takeoff not long ago revealed their first project together as duo, called, “Only Built For Infinity Links.”

This week Monday, the Unc & Phew brought ups came by the Big Facts podcast, there they talked more about the group’s split, they were also asked if fans can expect a Migos album later in the Future or not, they said, and we quote, “We want to see our career as a duo,” Quavo said. “Because we came from a loyal family thats supposed to work together. And sometime when sh**t don’t work out, its not meant to be.”

Takeoff also shipped in his ow take about the group’s future, and he stated, “We don’t know all the answers. God know. We pray a lot so only time will tell. Ain’t nothing got change.” Before concluding the discussion, Quavo said, “We stand on loyalty. And sometimes that sh** ain’t displayed. Right now we gon’ be the duo till time tell.

We do not know for sure if the trio will come together as a group and drop more albums, we can only but wait and hope. We however bid them good luck in their future endeavours.
