Frazier Othel Thompson III is the real name of the rapper who is better known by his stage name, Trae tha Truth (or just Trae).

He was born on July 3, 1980 and also is an American songwriter and rapper. Trae is a record executive who lives in Houston, Texas.

From reports, it has been stated that he went on his musical career back in 1998, from where he established himself as a reputable force to reckon with in the Texas hip hop scene. Thereafter, he dropped some of his solo debuts like, Losing Composure which was dropped in 2003, Same Thing Different Day which was dropped in 2004 and Restless which was released in 2006. From there his music career has been great.

Trae tha Truth is one person who is not just being an entertainer, he also is known as a staunch humanitarian, who helps people in times of need, disaster, etc. The American rapper has once again been seen assisting some people who were affected by natural disaster.

Trae tha Truth confirms that together and his Relief Gang, they have been able to rescue over 300 people after the Hurricane Ian took a hit at Florida. The rapper who is from Houston spent many days and nights assisting people who were impacted by the storm.

Trae was recently with KHOU 11, and he revealed, “I think combined, they said with all of us, we’ve done over 300 rescues,” He went further to state: “We rescued newborns to the elderly, to disabled to everything. It’s been a hectic weekend. It’s definitely different to see big yachts turned upside down like they’re toy boats. I’ll have to say it’ll be a long time before they get back to normal.”

Asides assisting the affected persons, Trae also currently partners with Operation BBQ, with the aim of providing meals to everyone who was affected by the same storm.

While on air, Trae says, “It’s hurricane season. What do we expect people to do when it comes our way? We’re going to expect help, or we’re going to need help,” he continues. “So with me being a representative of Houston, if I can go down there and extend that hand and make an impact, we may need that helping hand at another time. So sometimes you just got to pay it forward you know?”

Like we stated above, Trae has been known with his humanitarian assistances, one of which was when he assisted the city of Houston during the pandemic that hit the world. He assisted his city during the COVID-19 pandemic and also helped in his best capacity during the winter storm, last year 2021. Let us recall that Trae started the Relief Gang about 5 years ago, during Hurricane Harvey back in 2017.
